King Lifting is a growing and ambitious family business based in Avonmouth, Bristol, providing mobile crane hire and plant/machinery movement from depots across the south of England. We are proud of our name and reputation within the industry.
We have created a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee to join our busy support team based in West Drayton to assist with Computer Aided Design (CAD). This will include creating and planning drawings and dimensions to accurately position mobile cranes on client sites using CAD software. Other duties will include producing technical data for the cranes, routing heavy goods vehicles, site inductions and other relevant admin duties.
This is a complex role, so the suitable candidate will be computer literate, very technically minded with the desire to learn, achieve, and succeed, coupled with energy and enthusiasm and a genuine interest in technical design. They will already have some experience of working with Computer Aided Design, however, we estimate a 2-year training period and during this time, we will fully invest in relevant training and development for you to become a fully trained CAD Technician.
This is an office-based role so you will need to live within a commutable distance to our West Drayton depot. For your application to be considered, you must have the right to live and work in the UK.
