Trainee Business Development Consultant

Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with businesses nationally to identify and promote apprenticeship opportunities via telesales.
- Face to face sales meetings engaging with businesses to secure apprenticeship requirements and understand more about their business's requirements in the skills, people and talent space.
- Engage with business through impactful, informative, innovative and credible social media and online advertising campaigns.
- Work with marketing to shape campaigns based on market needs identified during the sales process.
- This is an office based, sales engagement role within as part our wider Growth team, with a keen focus on identifying apprenticeship vacancies with new and existing customers before passing the requirements to operational teams.
- Reporting to the Growth Manager your success will come from identifying and gaining new business clients across multiple sectors.
- You will develop relationships with employers and learners both in person and remotely to achieve your monthly targets and key performance indicator's and play a key role in meeting our ambitious growth plans.
Essential Qualifications
- Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
- Educated to a Degree Level, ideally in business, marketing or economics
- Level 2 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification or willingness to acquire
Skills, Abilities, and experience
- A passion for Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) sales or previous experience is desirable
- This is a telesales role and prior experience is desirable.
- Eager to learn and thrive off new challenges
- Demonstrated history of achievement, success, hard work and dedication
- Experience in a fast-paced environment such as recruitment, marketing, or telesales
- Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction
- Experience of successfully achieving targets and associated deadlines and working without close supervision.
- Results driven with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Computer literate with experience of managing databases or CRM systems for lead generation desired
- Strong self-motivation and organisation skills
- Ability to manage own time and resources effectively
- Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills
- Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a strong team and individually
- Hold a clean driving license with access to a vehicle or ability to travel national
