Applications are invited from highly motivated post graduates with an IBMS approved Biomedical science degree to join our Cellular Pathology Department at NCA in the role of Trainee Band 5 Biomedical Scientist. .

You will work towards Completion of the IBMS registration portfolio


Main duties of the job


  • To undertake BMS training in the diagnostic, scientific & technical work of the department
  • Successful completion of registration portfolio leading to HCPC registration
  • To work within the Trust & departmental SOPs and Policies to ensure the delivery of a safe, patient focused & high quality service

  • IBMS approved BSc in Biomedical Sciences or Approved alternative science degree plus post graduate certificate in Biomedical Science or equivalent (or applicant is in final year of degree)
