Therefore, we find it important to bring on and train personnel to a level of competence that will enhance our team of skilled technicians. We have trainee aircraft interior engineer positions available at our workshop facility located at Biggin Hill Airport.
Job Description:
Trainee Aircraft Interior Engineers will be trained to repair, manufacture, and refurbish aircraft interior components and structures on and off aircraft using approved techniques and gaining knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance procedures.
Duties will involve working with Skilled Aircraft Interior Engineering staff ref. below key tasks
- To carry out cabin maintenance tasks ensuring the highest possible standards in the most time efficient process.
- To action any current and deferred cabin defects ensuring rectification in a timely manner under supervision.
- Ensure timely communication of any cabin related operational problems.
- Maintain an awareness and working knowledge of the latest Technical Instructions, documentation, Service Bulletins and Procedures.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure workflow and joint goals are achieved. Ensure a high standard of each finished product.

Qualifications required
Applicants are required to have, or predicted to obtain, GCSE Grade A*- D or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in the following subjects:
- English
- Maths
- A practical subject
This position will be based “airside” on an airport and therefore the successful candidate will require CRB/Scottish Disclosure. JETMS Completions will apply for this if the applicant does not already hold this.
