Job brief
The Hotel is looking for a dynamic Housekeeping Room Attendant to serve as our hotel guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
Suitable candidates must be experienced in a similar position, organised, self-motivated and passionate about best customer service. You have to ensure that the accommodation and public areas offered to guests are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and guest provision.
If you are passionate about customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable experience for the guests and fellow colleagues.
Main responsibilities
- To carry out cleaning of rooms and toilets as required by the hotel’s standards.
- Present a warm welcome, and a speedy, efficient service.
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, ensuring room standards are met within the allocated time frame.
- To carry out daily housekeeping duties in accordance with the job requirements.
- To establish and maintain effective communications with colleagues.
- To help with the training of new staff as requested.
- To comply with the Health and Safety policy of the Hotel
- To promote the Hotel in a positive manner.
- Carrying out any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the line manager
Requirements
- Work experience as a Room attended or Housekeeping Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of proper use of chemicals and safety
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
- Ability to work under pressure and in a busy team environment
- Flexible with shift patterns.
- Legal right to work in the UK
