Are you a dynamic, enthusiastic, forward thinking Advanced Clinician looking to take the next step in your career? If so, HRH are looking to employ a full-time Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner who has a passion for high quality, patient-led care and a desire to make a difference.
This is position is a Trainee role and the successful candidate will be required to undertake the MSC Advanced Clinical Practitioner course at University. Applicants should;
- be registered with an appropriate professional healthcare body in the UK (for example, HCPC, NMC, RCOT) and should normally have a minimum of three years post-registration experience.
- normally hold a first degree. Applicants who have 60 or more level-6 credits or a non-honours degree meet the requirements if all 60 credits have been awarded in the last five years, otherwise they would normally be expected to demonstrate their ability to study at this level by completing a level-7 module before enrolment
You will be developing to become an ACP, this will involve studying as agreed in your personal training agreement. On completion of your training you will have the opportunity to apply for and ACP role within the practice.

To provide a high-quality, cost-effective service to the patients of the Practice; diagnosing and recommending treatments and medication while working within defined procedures and protocols as laid down by the GPs.
You will be developing to become an ACP, this will involve studying as agreed in your personal training agreement. On completion of your training you will have the opportunity to apply for and ACP role within the practice.
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team which include, GP Partners, GPs, Advance Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Phlebotomists.
You will be responsible for face to face and telephone consultations with patients presenting with a wide range of minor illness, urgent and same day requests for treatment and chronic disease management, providing care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
You will need to demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills. You will need to prioritise and triage the needs of patients accordingly making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner.
You may also be involved in triage of patients for the surgeries, in conjunction with a GP, on a rota basis.

Salary: £29,917.00-£44,269.00 per year
