A trainee role:
Ready to head into the world of work? A Traineeship could be your ideal start to the next phase of your career. You’ll learn about the job, on the job, whilst we support you through further studies, so you’ll gain qualifications as well as work experience and skills. As a Trainee your desired skills will be :
- The ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure
- Dedication and ambition to develop within the role
- Computer literate and numerate
As a Trainee we understand this may be one of your first roles so we’re looking for someone with a genuine interest in Accounts. Experience within this sector would be great however if you can demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach with excellent written and verbal communications skills this could be the role for you. We will support you through your Traineeship to develop and progress in your chosen career path.
Duties:
During your traineeship your duties will be varied and will develop as you progresses through the role. Duties may include:
- Involvement in month end processes and reporting timetable becoming involved across all month end tasks as time progresses and adhering to the reporting timetable
- Assisting with year-end procedures and tasks as required
- Posting of monthly completions including the reconciliation of cash against system info
- Credit control duties to ensure that all amounts owed are recovered as quickly as possible
- Matching purchase orders, GRN’s and invoices
- Assisting with monthly CIS submissions
- Working across all finance department functions as required in order to deliver on timetables and departmental requirements
- Adherence to company Health & Safety procedures and policies
