Trainee 2D CAD Operator/Programmer Liverpool, England
Job description
We are a small company basing in Knowsley Ind Est manufacturing thermal insulation covers for various industries. We are a very fast paced business and require people to be flexible in their approach to work. We are looking to recruit a trainee 2D CAD Operator/programmer
Key responsibilities
- Using industry specific drawing software (PDS21) ad Autocad
- Using nesting software, Optitex Mark 21 (in house training provided)
- Repetitive drawing basic shapes
- Operating CNC fabric cutting machine (in house training provided)
- General office duties
Skills Required
- Computer literate
- Understanding of imperial measuring
- Good mathematical skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent time keeping & attendance
- Keen to learn new skills
- Versatile approach to undertake other tasks within the company
- Good communication skills
Working days - Monday to Friday 37.5 hours
Shift pattern between 07:30-16:00 Mon - Thurs, 06:30-13:00 Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £12.00 per hour
