About The Role
Role: Night Train Cleaner
Location: Manchester M12 4HR
Must be able to travel to Manchester M12 4HR
Must be familiar with industrial cleaning
Salary: £10.90 per hour
Shift: 22pm-6am
Shift rota is changing every two weeks, 6 working days with 2 day or 4 days off(to be agreed)
40 hours per week, half hour unpaid break
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Train Cleaner, who will work at our client’s prestigious site.
Duties as a Train Cleaner
- Interior Train Cleaning with duties which include, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy
- Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping
- Disposing of trash from bins and containers
- Clean all toilets and replace consumables, carpet cleaning, detailed cleaning
- Polishing if necessary
- Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, if needed
- Exterior cleaning of the trains while following all safety rules and site rules
Job role requirements as a Train Cleaner
- Comfortable working alone and in a team
- Must be familiar with industrial cleaning
- Working to a schedule without instructions
- Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided
- Mandatory Depot track safety awareness course will be provided
- Good level of English and communications skills
