Taylor Stevenson are proud to be working with a well-known logistics company looking to expand their team!
We are recruiting for a Traffic Supervisor, working Monday to Friday, 9am-6.30pm!
Responsibilities
- Days handover from Nights transport team
- Driver briefing and de-briefing
- Traffic management through the day
- Reporting discrepancies/late running etc
- Keeping traffic system up to date
- Evening handover to nights transport team
- Weekly vehicle check to ensure company policies are being adhered to
- Accurate recording of trailer locations
- Booking agency drivers
- Assist in making maintenance bookings
Skills
- Experienced transport/traffic operator/planner within the transport industry, ideally within road haulage
- Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organised, able to prioritise and multi-task
- Able to prioritise and multi-task
- Calm under pressure
- IT literate, competent in Microsoft packages
- Self-motivated, flexible and confident
Monday-Friday, 9am-6.30pm and 1 in 3 Sunday shifts required on rota, 6am-2pm
Salary- £25k-£28k dependant on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
