Hours: 35:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Tuesday to Sat 22:00 -06:00

The purpose of an administrator is to provide support within the Vehicle operating centre and strengthen the unit performance.

In order for Royal Mail to run an efficient operation, the Administrator would be expected to carry out the following tasks:

  • To help maintain the Quick, Efficient & Safe running of the Transport Office.
  • Vehicle Allocation and Vehicle Defect Monitoring.
  • Joined up system start and stop
  • RTA/Accident Data
  • Downloading Digital Tachographs
  • Working with systems (Such as Isotrak)
  • Working with Yard Management systems

This is an interesting opportunity for someone with good administration and transport skills, who enjoys working under pressure, dealing with often-diverse workloads whilst meeting strict deadlines. The successful candidate will have the ability to deal with people at all levels and be able to demonstrate excellent customer skills and good team relationships.
