Who are we?
The Bread Factory is a Food Manufacturing bakery dedicated to making deliciously crafted bread, cakes and pastries. We are proud to craft products for our GAIL’s bakeries, neighbourhood grocery stores, restaurants and more!
As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for our next Traffic Marshall within our transport department.
Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:
- Assisting with the placement and loading of vehicles
- Ensuring the vehicle 'waves' leave on time
- Monitor and report vehicle issues
- Ensuring all health and safety and food safety regulations are followed at all times
- Monitoring the cleanliness and general standards of the yard, ensuring that the correct PPE is worn
- Direct all traffic to ensure the flow of waves isadhered too
- Completion of any handover reporting
- Communicating with other departments including our nights operation team

- Improving the efficiency of the yard and reducing congestion and waiting times
- Reducing short deliveries through improved loading of vehicles/vans
- Maintaining vehicles through more frequent and detailed checks

- Able to work night shift (11pm to 7am)
- Clean Full UK drivers Licence is a must, with no ban or endorsement
- Forklift licence would be ideal, though not essential
- Hands on approach
- Logical and efficient
- Excellent communication skills
