The Traffic Management Operative Role
We are searching for individuals to be able to install, maintain and remove traffic management in line with RAMS, Chapter 8 TSM and Safety at Street Works and Road Works – A Code of Practice. The typical setups will include, road closures and diversions, lane closures, contraflows, and narrow lane setups.
Responsibilities as our Traffic Management Operative
- Ability to take instruction from the TMF/LTMO or TSCO and other members of supervisory and management staff
- Appropriately action in the event of an emergency, particularly ensuring the appropriate persons are notified and to report these incidents using the correct company procedure
- Participating in an out of hours call out rota
- Actively report near misses using various means including our mobile application
What we’re looking for in our Traffic Management Operative
The successful candidate will possess a driving license, a valid CSCS card and a Lantra 12D ticket/street works unit 2. A Safety Critical Medical certificate would be advantageous as well as traffic management experience.
