About the Role
Trading partners are integral to the success of the wholesale business within ASOS.com.
Trading Partners are responsible for strategically driving the business through effective planning, trading, working collaboratively with commercial B & M teams, account managers, transformation team, and supply chain to achieve commercially successful outcomes for our Partners whilst driving profitability for ASOS.
What You’ll Be Doing
Works to deliver partner budgets and Internal despatch targets by managing and tracking partner orders.
Working alongside Account Managers to ensure Partners departmental budgets are achieved whilst offering a commercial range. Taking into account OTB, Options, price, margin and ALB.
Ownership of wholesale partnerships order book and partner trackers.
Manages the allocation strategy across partnerships through to the despatch of product.
Regular analysis & reporting of partner performance and despatch to maximise commercial opportunities.
Communicating any risk to targets effectively and proposing solutions to Senior Trading Partners.
Develops and builds strong relationships with Partners.
In partnership with Senior Trading Partner, create a forward strategy for wholesale partnerships around new and existing brand portfolio, taking into account the Account Managers steer on trends and handwriting
Working collaboratively with commercial teams to improve and refine processes for order and intake management
Providing an appropriate level of data analysis and insights that can be shared with relevant teams to aid decision making and gain buy in for ideas
Driving, adapting and adjusting the strategy in season based on trade performance.
Reviews KPIs regularly to ensure that the BTA is realistic, highlighting changes to team and management.
Demonstrates a global mindset, discussing and sharing opportunities and risks with other areas of the business to influence increased despatch.
Manages and developing a high-performing team of Trading Associate’s and Trading Administrator’
Builds internal network with Key stakeholders covering Supply Chain, Commercial B&M, transformation team, finance, exports & tech.
