Trading Assistant Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and operating trading platforms which run 24/7.
- Spotting inconsistencies, errors or unusual behaviour.
- Derive valuable insights into customer, counterparty, and market dynamics.
- Maintain effective communication with traders, counterparties and trading venues on an ad hoc-basis.
- Helping troubleshoot issues that arise in the trade cycle.
- Collaborate with developers and traders to enhance the functionality and performance of the platform.
Skills to Demonstrate as a Trading Assistant:
- Education to BSc level, ideally in a mathematical or scientific subject.
- Proficient with the Microsoft stack.
- Ability to come to grips with new applications quickly.
- Mathematically minded.
- Comfortable making informed trading decisions.
- Knowledge of SQL is desired but there is the opportunity to learn on the job.
