Our client, a convenience store offering baked, fresh & packaged goods are seeking a Shop Assistant!
THE ROLE
Shop Assistant
£11.00 per hour
Tumble, Llanelli
Approx 20 – 30hrs per week
Weekend availability is required.
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering their questions, and helping ensure they find what they need promptly and efficiently.
- Cashier Duties: Operating the cash register, handling transactions accurately, and processing payments through various methods (cash, credit cards, mobile payments).
- Stocking Shelves: Replenishing merchandise on shelves, ensuring products are neatly arranged, and maintaining a well-organized store appearance.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarizing yourself with store products to help customers make informed decisions and suggest appropriate alternatives when necessary.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Keeping the store clean and tidy, including regular cleaning tasks and restocking supplies as needed.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory; we welcome enthusiastic and motivated individuals looking to start their career in retail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
