We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as Trade Support Investment Operations, working together with colleagues to define, be in charge and achieve divisional business targets.
Role Purpose
Support the UK business proposition and services for the following funds: Luxembourg Fund range, UK OEIC range, World Select range, Investment Fund range, ETF range, Liquidity Fund range and Institutional Business.
Front line for FM queries – Act as a first point of contact for the Front Office on all Operational aspects of the business. This will involve liaison with various service providers and teams within AMEU.
General product related questions - work with Product teams to review specification documents, offer input to business cases, offer general advice & guidance (including vendor resource/capacity management).
In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for all business as usual operational activities to support the business proposition and services, including but not limited to: Luxembourg Fund range, UK OEIC range, World Select range, Investment Fund range, ETF Range, Liquidity Fund and Institutional Business.
- Trade Support provides assistance to the Fund Manager areas when they have queries concerning: Corporate Actions, Payments, Fees, Fund Administration, HSS Middle and Back Office functions, trade queries and reconciliation issues.
- Assist with account transitions requirements (Account openings, transfers, in-specie, Fund realignments, etc) with all internal/external service providers.
- Ensure the level of service is appropriate to satisfy the Fund Management requirements at all times.
- Identify areas for improvement and enhancement in process and service delivery capabilities.
- Introduce new processes and controls as appropriate to growth of the business.
- Provide oversight and support to our external service providers.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Requires broad knowledge of Asset Management business, as well as an excellent operations understanding and experience.
- Good communications skills and relationship building, able to work effectively internally and externally with all levels.
- Good understanding and knowledge of technology and process management with proven ability to deliver high levels of service to the business and effect solutions for clients.
- General understanding of the characteristics and dynamics of the business and its full product suite.
- Experience of working within a matrix organisation.
- Good understanding of the operating models for Funds and Institutional business.
- Efficient time management.
- Equally comfortable working individually or within a team.
