Job description
An exciting position has come up on a local 1,000 acre farm with combinable crops, for a tractor driver to work as part of a hardworking, two man team. Candidates must be experienced, or willing to learn. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities & Duties
· Cultivations
· Trailer work
· Hedge cutting
· General maintenance including machinery and estate work
· Woodland management throughout the winter months
· Field operations and groundwork
· Grain store work and maintenance
Work experience & skills
· Experience of working within the agricultural industry is desirable.
· PA1 and PA2 desirable
· Rough Terrain certificate desirable
· Experience with using chainsaws is desirable
Personal qualities & behavioural traits
· A “can do” attitude and the ability to take ownership of designated tasks.
· The ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.50-£14.00 per hour
