A vacancy has arisen for a Trackside Hospitality Manager for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. Reporting to the Head of Hospitality and Events, you will manage significant elements of the trackside hospitality operations for the team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a first-class hospitality programme and seamless end to end guest experience.
The role:
- Planning and delivery of the Paddock and Paddock Club / Club Suite programme at F1 races
- Daily management of Partner and VIP guest hospitality requests and programmes
- Welcoming and hosting guests over a race weekend
- Working collaboratively with other team departments to arrange the hospitality build across the globe, ensuring brand standards are continuously met
- Scheduling and resource management
- Administration, ticketing, gifting, and logistics management
- Daily management of suppliers, caterers, and support services
- Budget management, raising purchase orders and invoicing as required across some races
- Maintain excellent working relationships with hospitality team, wider colleagues, Partners, industry stakeholders and suppliers
What we are looking for:
- You ideally have proven experience of working in a motorsport hospitality environment and have relevant business and hospitality related skills and qualifications
- You are motivated to deliver an exceptional guest experience and be friendly and approachable in manner. In addition, you will have first-class organisational and time management skills.A sound attention to detail is also necessary.
- You thrive on working in a fast-paced, busy environment.
- You possess excellent communication skills, have high levels of drive and be able to make decisions within a pressurised environment.
- Flexibility in hours and approach is required, along with the ability to work under minimum supervision with a "can do" team attitude.
- You will undertake extensive race travel but not be expected to undertake attendance at all races.
