The role of the Touring Warden is to oversee and maintain toilet/shower amenity blocks and touring fields in a clean and tidy condition to the standards set by the General Manager and to assist and direct touring caravanners using the Park.
Main Duties Include:
- Maintaining the toilet/shower/washing facilities and the outside appearance of the amenity building in a clean and tidy condition
- Assisting the Housekeeping Team, when needed
- Emptying waste containers in the amenity building
- Taking general interest in the activity taking place on the touring fields
- Resetting electric hook up point trips as required
- Monitoring consumable materials used in cleaning and service and re-ordering through the Operations Manager when required
- Checking and maintaining the clean and tidy condition the pitch service facilities
- Carrying out grass cutting and pitch weeding as required
- Assisting with customer queries or complaints (not expected always to act as a last line of solution to complaint)
- Directing new arrivals to their pitches
- Acting as an information centre to touring customers
- Assisting/advising customers using multi-service pitch connections
- Attending a daily meeting with the Operations/Maintenance Manager
- Undertaking weekly briefing with Operations Manager and report
- Liaising with reception office (by radio)
- Checking arrivals and departures by obtaining 'Arrivals List' and 'Departures List' from booking office daily
- Ensuring Park Rules are being observed and obeyed by customers, e.g. siting and parking correctly, no ball games around caravans.
- Carrying out such further tasks as may from time to time be required and instructed by Park Manager
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week. The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
The successful applicant/s will have their own touring vehicle of which they can reside in on our touring field for the entirety of the employment contract. Touring on site is optional.
