Job description
We are looking for seasonal wildlife guides for the 2023 season. We offer £23,000 pro rata with a performance based bonus scheme, tips and prospects for promotion.
A bachelors or master's degree in ecology, zoology, marine biology or conservation is desirable. The ability to present informative talks to our guests and an enthusiasm for wildlife, wild places, nature and the environment is essential.
Sealife-Adventures a long-established 5 star wildlife watching operation based near Oban, Argyll, Scotland. You will be tour guiding, helping to maintain and clean our boat, grounds and buildings to a high standard. You need good IT skills and will be involved in filming and editing.
We are involved in conservation campaigns and wildlife filming underwater and on the surface. This is a great area for scuba diving, kayaking, wildlife and walking.
We have affordable accommodation in a rural location near our pontoon.

COVID-19 considerations:
Our boat is large enough to have guests outside and separated from ourselves by barriers if necessary. If necessary we sanitise the boat after each trip, and wear masks when appropriate.

- Please attach a video presentation around 2 mins duration on any bird or animal we see on our trips, at a distance from your camera to replicate conditions on a boat. Try to avoid scientific jargon and make it interesting.
