What you will be doing...
Tooling Storekeeper, based at Manchester Hangar
The Tooling Storekeeper will ensure that all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled and located correctly, whilst adhering to published Engineering procedures and operating to a high standard in relation to aircraft safety.
The Tooling Storekeeper will carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling, conducting minor maintenance and ensure any potential defective tooling is efficiently and cost effectively dispatched for repair or calibration. You will take a proactive approach to ensure service levels are kept to a high standard. In addition, the Tooling Storekeeper will be responsible for maintaining records of all transactions in a diligent and accurate manner.

After a period of training, it is expected that the Tooling Storekeeper will work on a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern.

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?
- The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills and the ability to ensure a clean and tidy work environment at all times.
- You will have experience of working with Tooling equipment and ideally have a good understanding of the aviation market.
- You will have a proactive approach, as well as the ability to prioritise work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
