[TL012b] Junior Project Coordinator

[TL012b] Junior Project Coordinator London, England

ThinkingLinking
Full Time London, England 28340 - 38000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

ThinkingLinking is looking for a Junior Project Coordinator to join a small, fast-paced and disciplined strategic consulting team in the City of London.

We welcome applicants with precise minds and clear communication since we use logic, strategic planning and advanced communication skills when working with our team internally as well as working with clients.

About ThinkingLinking

ThinkingLinking is a boutique strategy-focused M&A consulting firm with a ‘Strategy before Finance’ methodology. Unlike other small firms that specialise in one sector, ThinkingLinking works across several sectors, using proprietary methodologies to identify opportunities and guide the dealmaking process. We add strategy and psychology to the traditional finance dimension of M&A, in effect blending two industries – strategic consulting and M&A.

What can be learnt at ThinkingLinking

“Learn from experts”

At ThinkingLinking, there is no limit to a person's career progression if they have skills and determination to match it. We have one of the most hands-on training environments of any small firm in the format of an apprenticeship, and are dedicated to helping members of our team grow.

We are a rare firm not only in our methodologies but also in the opportunities we offer to train you. By joining our company, you can learn from us on specific logical thinking skills. As you develop, you can have daily working contact with our CEO.

About the Role

This role will involve helping with a number of side projects for the company which are not M&A-focused. These can range from designing a website or developing an app (choosing website builder/app developer, delivering requirements, site/app testing and quality check) to producing company brochures (scoping the project, choosing printing vendors, quality check and further logistics arrangement).

The ideal candidate will have the determination to have a strategic view of projects, manage internal colleagues and external parties, and guarantee the delivery of project milestones in a demanding business environment.

As part of a small team, the candidate is expected to be independent and confident in handling a wide range of responsibilities towards achieving agreed goals. We are looking for a quick learner, strategic and creative thinker with versatile project management skills.

Your responsibilities will cover the full management cycle of projects including project planning, hiring, scoping, negotiating and delivery to launch (outreach preparation and management).

Examples of day-to-day work include:

  • Participate in internal strategy meetings
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Internally coordinate the tasks of employees, provide regular feedback and report their progress to the CEO
  • Recruit, monitor and report on resource availability
  • Organise periodically project meetings/discussions to keep the projects on track
  • Coordinate with internal and third-party resources
  • Perform risk management to minimise potential risks
  • Prepare call/meeting notes after every client/potential client interaction
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Responsibilities will be tailored somewhat based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and experience.
