type: Full-time (37.5 hours), Location: Stockton-on-Tees, Durham University International Study Centre Salary: up to £ 25,632.11 per annum JOB OVERVIEW Durham University International Study Centre are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Timetabling and Data Coordinator. As the Timetabling and Data Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling and management of resources within the International Study Centre (ISC). Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining accurate timetables, coordinating with various departments to gather and analyse data, and providing support in optimising operational efficiency. The Timetabling and Data Coordinator is a crucial position within the Registry and Operations Team, who will coordinate the planning and distribution of timetables to students and centre staff, keep records of rooms and facilities, and liaise with Durham University regarding booking of rooms for events and meetings. The Coordinator will also oversee data systems and provide management information and ensure student data is maintained and accurate. The post holder will also assist with induction programmes and other events and assist within the Student Experience Team as required. The Timetabling and Data Coordinator will also effectively contribute to collaborative decisions within the International Study Centre, working with others to reach optimal conclusions, such as providing advice and guidance regarding timetabling, data, and reporting. ABOUT THE ROLE Timetabling Act as a first point of contact for the central timetabling team. Liaise with Academic Team on course requirements and staff availability for timetable creation and ad hoc cover. Produce course timetables for the centre, within agreed timescales for every intake throughout the year. Student Data System Management Report distribution (students) e.g., Timetables/attendance reports, etc. Report distribution (staff/centre) e.g., attendance data/timetables etc. Activating/Leaving students within Student Information System. Proactively gather data for manipulation and analysis. Support the provision of statistical analysis and reporting as required. Finance Support students to make tuition fee payments. Ensure the collection of outstanding student fees is regularly undertaken. Update appropriate systems with data relating to student charges. ABOUT YOU Level 3 qualification, relevant professional qualification, or evidence of continuous training and development (Desirable) Experience with Timetabling Software (Desirable) Experience working in administration (Essential) Experience in working with database systems (Essential) Experience working with students in an education environment (Desirable).
