Job description
On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a TIG Welders to join our busy team based in Brownhills Area.
Your daily duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Coded welding
- 6G Welding horizontally and with different angles
- Welding of stainless steel and carbon metals 2” - 6” with no crest
- Positional welding on pressure vessels, boilers and superheaters mechanical pipework
- Ensuring the quality of metal parts before assembling them
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
- Following health and safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate:
- Will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Essential)
- Be confident with 6G TIG welding
- Relevant qualifications (Essential)
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
- Quick learner
- Be able to follow all health and safety regulations
Skills to be tested upon interview, candidate needs to pass X-ray weld test.
Our client is an industry leader in high integrity fabrication and welding, which offers stable employment with temporary to permanent basics.
Due to location own transport is essential, free parking available on site.
Working hours:
Monday - Thursday 7:55 - 16:30
Friday: 7:55 - 13:30
