We value drive and motivation, and a passion for media, content, and technology. If you can bring those things to the role, you will prosper within our agency.

WHO ARE WE?

Wavemaker is a global media agency. We believe there is a better way to grow. By leveraging our deep understanding of audiences, Provocative Planning process and the world’s largest database of purchase journeys, we deliver exceptional growth for clients including Audible, Nationwide, Danone, Asahi and Morrisons.

In essence, our media agency decides which people a brand should be targeting, what barriers the brand needs to overcome and decide which channels they should use (TV, Social, Influencers, Cinema, Posters, Digital, Radio), and how the channels should be deployed.

WHAT
WILL THE ROLE BE LIKE?

Thrive is a 24-month accredited scheme starting in the summer of 2023. You will join an immersive induction to get to the root of how we work and join your teams and specialisms once you have fully grasped our matrix. Training is an important part of life at Wavemaker for staff at all levels, so you won’t be going it alone. Once you complete your onboarding with us, you’ll join a Thrive Track to continue your learning. You will also have regular exposure to partners such as ITV, Snapchat, Meta, etc. as part of the learning process. There will be dedicated study time throughout the scheme duration to help you obtain the various essential specialist qualifications for a permanent role.

Thrive Tracks

Digital Marketing: Digital Marketers will gain an insight into how digital marketing works and the impact of it. Learners will analyse audience, acquisition, and behaviour reports, and set up goals and campaign tracking. You will also gain an awareness of different languages such as HTML and Java, and how a Digital Marketer might use these.

Data Analyst: Data Analysts collect, organise and study data to provide business insight. This digital Data course will enable you to drive organisational innovation and optimise resources through developing knowledge and understanding of data and its potential.

Along with your Thrive Track, you will join either the Planning, Activation, Digital or SEO team and we will have you diving into big brands, insightful projects and/or famous accounts from the off. It won’t be easy, but we promise that this will be the best kickstart to a career in media you could hope for. You’ll get to work alongside some of the brightest brains in the business in a department that best suits your interests and potential, you will also have a Mentor to support you along the way. So, whether you’re a number-cruncher, data diver, people person, digital-tinkerer or a content creator, we’ve got a role for you.
