The Opportunity
As a Thermal Insulation Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out insulation duties and tasks competently and safely in accordance with training, skills and the specification as instructed and directed by supervision. Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
> Stripping and refitting
> Metalwork forming and fitting
> Show a personal example of good safety practice
> Working against insulation standards and specifications to comply with the assessment and plan of work
> Follow risk and method statements
> Measure and fabricate cladding
> Install insulation and materials, using clips, adhesives and tapes to fit them into place
