The Health Economics and Decision Science (HEDS) academic section of the Division of Population Health in the School of Medicine and Population Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide operational support to ensure the delivery of its NIHR funded Applied Research Collaboration Yorkshire and Humber (ARC YH) Health Economics, Evaluation and Equality (HEEE) Theme programme.
You will be required to work closely with the Health Economics, Evaluation and Equality (HEEE) Theme Management Team, particularly with the Theme Lead, to ensure the smooth delivery of the delivery of the NIHR ARC YH Health Economics, Evaluation and Equality theme programme to ensure it meets its medium and long term objectives in the remaining 11 months, including funding and data acquisition, provision of monitoring and reporting research activities, as well as communicating and promoting its impact.
You should be experienced in providing administrative support to multi-disciplinary projects across multiple organisations, preferable in a research/academic/health economics and outcomes measurement environment. This requires the application of establish project administration methods and University finance and contracting systems. You will be a competent user of the Mircosoft Office suite, an excellent organiser, have a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, a confidential approach and you will have budget-management and project management experience.
