Theatre Administration Assistant | New Hall Hospital | Full Time 37.5 Hours
A vacancy has arisen for an administrator in the Theatre Department. Excellent communication, time management and computer skills are essential for the role. Previous experience of patient and administration systems would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. The successful candidate will need to be able to work conscientiously and proactively in a dynamic environment.
The role will be varied providing assistance to the theatre manager, including scheduling theatre lists and staff. The responsibilities will be numerous but will be focused on, booking appointments, scheduling staff rotas and dealing with telephone enquiries. Previous experience in these areas is desirable but not essential.

Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with consultants, colleagues, patients and visitors on a day to day basis
Provide a high level of customer service by responding efficiently to telephone calls, enquiries and requests
Be able to work in a team
Be able to work under own initiative and have an ability to prioritise own workload
