To assist the analysts within the AS department with routine laboratory duties.
  • Responsible for working under cGMP and relevant Health and Safety procedures within the laboratory
  • General housekeeping and organising within the AS laboratories.
  • Preparation of paperwork
  • Ensure all glassware is available and ready for use.
  • Ensure all samples are ready at point of use for the analyst
  • Complete all solution preparation
  • Prepare all Dissolution Baths in preparation for the analyst including clean down
  • Carry out Appearance tests and PH testing
  • General flushing of HPLC’s and HPLC columns after use.
  • Logging in of analytical reagents, supplies, standards and HPLC columns.
  • Ordering and receipt of laboratory supplies, replacing expired reagents.
  • Takes responsibility for organising lab waste, liaising with analysts to discard solutions prepared.
  • To identify self-development needs for future performance looking to achieve.
  • Work towards basic maintenance and calibration of analytical equipment such as Karl Fischer.
  • To be able to prioritise workload so that analytical testing run smoothly, by feeding into analysts the solutions prepared when required.
  • Be able to be flexible and able to change priorities quickly.
  • Good communications skills to work with multiple analysts.
  • To perform routine laboratory procedures right first time with minimal personal OOS results.
  • Support the lab is always audit ready
