The successful candidate for this position will be a self-motivated, career-oriented professional with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The Tester will work directly with the development team to implement test programs and design specifications, and will be responsible for compiling comprehensive reports of his or her findings. The successful Tester is a critical member of the development team and must have excellent analytical thinking skills and an eye for detail.
An Automation driven environment, this is a great opportunity for someone with 2-3 years' experience who is looking for the chance to develop their Automation skills whilst being able to work in a tight knit team of Senior QA Engineers they can be mentored by on a daily basis. To be considered for this opening, the following experience is required: • 2+ years' experience in a QA / Testing role • At least 1 year of Automation experience (ideally with JavaScript) • Capable working with Automation frameworks, with experience across one of Nightwatch, Cypress or Cucumber • History of working in Agile environments • Hands-on experience with CI and API Testing tools is also a bonus
Responsibilities:
- Write test plans and test cases.
- Find bugs in the code.
- Work with programmers to correct code.
- Document code to aid programmers and testers in maintaining the code.
- Be knowledgeable of programming techniques, including source code control, refactoring, reusability, and modularity.
- Create unit tests for the code.
- Create integration tests for the code, using stubs and mock objects.
- Be able to work with a variety of programming languages.

Salary: £28,600.00-£30,000.00 per year
