TEST TECHNICIAN
JOB SUMMARY: The test technician is responsible for the maintenance of test equipment. In addition, the technician will provide support for test equipment and test processes currently in place. They will assist in development of test programs and provide support for the manufacturing testing personnel.
REPORTS TO: Quality Engineering Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
* Wire and maintain test fixtures and test stands. (With training and instruction from engineering)
* Perform production test support for test problems.
* Support the calibration lab by collecting & calibrating equipment once training is complete.
* Provide a supporting role in other manufacturing support departments as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree in electrical/electronic discipline or equivalent experience (schematic interpretation a must).
* Knowledge of problem solving techniques.
* Ability to use a computer. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel is desired.
* Must have the ability to be self-directed after training period and have good communication skills.
* Must be able to multi-task and prioritize well.
