Job description
Responsible for maintaining a high volume automation line, ensuring world-class levels of service and product quality are delivered to our customers
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that the automated cell assembly machines are loaded, set up and run to meet production demands.
- Monitor automated cell assemblies and identify and inform supervisor of manufacturing issues before they affect production.
- Perform daily checks on assembly processes, ensuring that all in-process and end of process quality metrics are adhered to.
- Maintain stock at a prescribed level to ensure that productiondowntime is kept to a minimum.
- Collect items for Goods In when required.
- Ensure uptime, utilisation, yield and scrap metrics/ targets are recorded.
- Develop a competency in diagnosing faults and performing light electro/mechanical repair pneumatic and routine servicing and maintenance.
