Test Manager
Duration: 6 Months
Start: ASAP
Location: Bristol & remote working (approximately 1-2 days per week at the client site in Bristol)
Rate: £500 - £550 per day
IR35 Status: Outside
We require a Test Manager for our higher education Client to work on one of their specific projects.
You will work closely with their Change Management team to ensure testing is conducted in line with business requirements and identify opportunities to improve the testing process.
As the Test Manager you will possess the following skills & experience
Possess previous experience as a Test Manager
Proficient in producing test plans and test scripts for functional, integration and performance testing of applications, databases and infrastructure builds
Produce and present test and quality documentation for quality gate reviews.
Provide time and effort estimates for testing activities.
Utilise your testing knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the practicality of testing process alternatives.
Ensures that any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and the system test plan are clearly documented and described to the clients/users and colleagues.
Takes responsibility for the production of testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project.
Carry out validation and system testing of both functional and non-functional components of the infrastructure build.
Takes responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project.
You will be required to manager all risks associated with the testing and takes preventative action when any risks become unacceptable.
Record and manage defects.
