A test leader is required to support a portfolio of 4 securities finance and collateral management products servicing the global market. The role reports to The Head of Technology for Securities Finance and Collateral Management and is expected to demonstrate experience of creating test organisations, defining test practices and leading test execution. The products utilise different technology stacks spanning Oracle, REACT, .NET and Java and the successful candidate will have diverse experience of automated test approaches across multiple stacks.
We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Responsibilities:
- Create a testing vision;
- Define test strategy for the portfolio;
- Establish test approach and supporting frameworks (aligned to strategy) for each product;
- Determine test tooling;
- Lead ongoing test execution portfolio wide, including test governance;
- Stakeholder management including broader test community of practice, development teams, executive stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Innovative and current approach to testing methodologies, and a willingness to introduce advanced test methodologies such as TDD, BDD, shifting testing to CI/CD workflows, shift-left, and others;
- Strong Test Automation experience;
- Working knowledge of multiple software quality and testing metrics and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, iterative) and a data-driven approach to evaluating the health of projects and applications;
- Attention to detail and a willingness to hold people accountable through influence;
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple ongoing test efforts of varying size and complexity;
- Strong Leadership skills (with a preference for Line Management Experience);
- Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams;
- Financial Services Experience is an advantage;
- Working knowledge of the following (nice to have): Jira, UFT, TeamCity, Load Runner.
