The Test Engineer role:
As a Test Engineer in MAG, you’ll be immersed in our engineering team and work on multiple projects. You’ll be responsible for managing the development of and maintenance of automation frameworks, test scripts and test reporting and ensure quality whilst enabling the business to deliver change at pace, change direction and get product to market more quickly. So we’re looking for a Test Engineer who can create the test plans, test cases, automation scripts and help create the test automation framework from scratch.
- Experience of creating Automation frameworks from scratch using Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, etc.
- Experience of agile methodologies such as Test-Driven development, Behaviour-Driven Development, agile, scrum and testing in an agile environment.
- Experience across API testing (Rest assured, Pact and Postman)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (AWS DevOps)
- Performance/Load Testing experience using JMeter
- Excellent understanding of the STLC and different types of testing such as functional, Integration, UAT
