Cater Allen Private Bank is a subsidiary of Santander UK. We can trace our history back to a bank founded in Blackburn in 1816 and after being independent for 180 years, we were purchased in 1997 by Abbey National, now Santander UK. We are looking for accurate, thorough testers with a great attention to detail and a good technical understanding to help us ensure we continue to deliver a great service to our customers. We need you to get involved in changes at the earliest possible opportunity, working with business and our third parties to shape the way the requirements are written. You will support changes all the way through to post deployment checking.
You will define test scope and build the test scripts which you will then run. You’ll identify the areas where user / functional testing is required and drive this to completion. You’ll raise defects and track them through to resolution.

- Covering all testing activities to ensure code delivered safely to Production
- Creating and maintaining test data
- Ensuring that the test team, plus 3rd Parties & development teams follow governance
What you’ll bring.
- Demonstrate an extensive experience in testing within a UK Banking arena
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Great communicator in writing and verbally - able to explain complex subjects to varied audiences
- Experience in collating releases of multiple changes
- Organised and able to prioritise own workload, often under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills to enable working with a wide range of people
It would also be nice for you to have.
- Knowledge of IDC / DF – the Intellect suite of systems
- Knowledge of AWD Image and Workflow
- Knowledge of FISERV suite of systems
- Knowledge of JIRA
What else do you need to know?
Unsocial hours will be needed upon occasion as releases can take place at quiet times
Role is based in Milton Keynes with hybrid working.
