We are currently looking for a highly motivated Junior IT Administrator to join our IT team. If you want to be a part of our growing company that is driven by innovation and is focused on building a future together with our employees, consider applying.
The Junior IT Administrator is responsible for providing day to day technical support to internal users and systems, troubleshooting user issues and providing a path for a solution. The Junior IT Administrator is also competent to do first and second level IT Support.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365, Windows 10, VPN connections)
- Creating and managing user accounts as well as file/folder permissions (ADUC) and exchange resources (Exchange Admin Center, PowerShell)
- Troubleshooting and supporting mobile devices
- Printer/Scanner troubleshooting and maintenance
- Providing end user problem resolutions via phone/MS Teams (remote control) for remote users at home and for sites without local IT
- Responding rapidly to user requests and logged incidents within the Service Desk
- Providing problem management process support across groups
- Manage IT equipment orders
- Supporting backend area and administrating backups and restores
- Responsible for certain projects
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration or a degree in the technical field is beneficial
- Good knowledge of User-Helpdesk and 1st Level Support
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of network and hardware technology
- Administration of Windows servers and clients
- Basic Linux knowledge is an advantage
- Self-motivated personality and getting-things-done attitude
- Good knowledge in written and spoken English as well as good communication skills
- Attentive to detail and excellent time management essential
