About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and talented Manual Software Test Analyst. You collaborate closely with Developers and Product Owners in an Agile team during every part of the project lifecycle to understand systems and software requirements and plan your test cases. You will take responsibility for the quality of the features and software you work on and be vigorous in your testing.
You will be a key member of the development team and take part in regular team stand-ups, planning sessions and sprint reviews.
Hours of work: Flexitime available, core hours of 10am – 3pm Monday – Friday must be worked, and you must work 37.5 hours per week.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience using workflow management software such as TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps
- Experience writing test scripts in BDD
- Experience testing Desktop applications
- Strong manual testing experience in Web and Mobile applications
- Experience in all aspects of functional testing
- Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Ability to manage your own workload and deadlines
- Ability to look beyond the UI for Bugs and potential issues
- Strong verbal and communication skills
The ideal candidate will have (by no means essential):
- Experience querying SQL databases
- Experience in manual integration testing
- Experience in creating and managing your own test plans and strategies
