Reporting to the IT Director and working extremely closely with the Supply Chain & Procurement Director, the job holder will take the lead for systems related aspects of deploying Netstock, EDI and Order scanning into the existing Business Central environment. Supports the mapping of processes & systems & prepares ER systems to take on the easyJet supply chain framework.
Key responsibilities
Operational Management
- Understand En Route Business Systems systems including Business Central, Netstock, CRM and third party integrators.
- Work with internal/external customers to understand submitted change requirements.
- Manage multiple requirements, understand dependencies and as a result prioritisation of projects.
- Develop solutions internally and with external partners and vendors.
- Project manage change from submission through to delivery, where appropriate develop measures to ensure adoption and the end state is achieved.
- Work with stakeholders to update processes to accommodate required changes.
- Design and implement effective processes to support each business application matching the business requirements.
- Document process maps and develop training resources and deliver training to new and existing supply chain team members.
- Ensure effective Change Management processes are implemented and adhered to by internal and external parties.
- Management of major IT outages or incidents; finding workarounds, managing internal communication with senior business owners and escalations with the relevant supplier’s senior management
- Prepare budgets, review quotations, and manage all relevant controllable IT costs.
Project Management
- Develop business cases to justify IT investments.
- Once approved ensure all IT Projects are tracked.
- Ensure IT projects are implemented in a measured way to ensure sustainability beyond the project phase through effective Change Management and Training.
Person Specification
Qualifications and training
- Degree level education, with an IT focus, or equivalent experience
- A minimum 5 years project based experience working on & delivering supply chain and finance IT services and solutions
- A track record of successful IT systems implementation and operation
- Sufficient technical understanding of IT infrastructure and application architectures.
- The ability to apply best practice using a pragmatic approach.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge and skills
- Proven record of results orientation and success.
- Strong project & programme management / analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail.
- Strong customer and people focus.
- Proven ability in working collaboratively and as a part of a team internationally.
