Test Analyst

Our Technology
Our department tests across a range of platforms and technologies, examples of which are mobile applications, web sites, web applications, business intelligence (Data) and ServiceNow implementations. These can be inhouse developments or externally sourced procurements. This allows for a diverse and challenging environment in which to operate allowing exposure and experience within different areas of implementation.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic testing professional to join our team as a Test Analyst. You will work in one of a range of projects within NSS, specifically in the areas of test planning, test execution and test automation. This is a critical role in supporting the strategic delivery of various programmes within National Services Scotland.

Key responsibilities include:

• Test planning
• Test execution
• Test representation on project teams
• Issue triage and resolution
• Pro-actively contributing to service improvement especially around automation
• User engagement

• Proven experience in the software testing domain
• Knowledge and experience of testing processes and approaches
• Understanding of automation approaches and tools
