Position:
Test Analyst
Worthing, West Sussex, Hybrid - you will be required to attend the head office in Worthing, West Sussex a minimum of one day per week or fortnight depending on location.

£35,000 - £45,000 per year
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Test Analyst to join our expanding in-house software delivery team. The successful candidate will work closely within an Agile delivery squad and have the exciting opportunity to influence and shape our technical journey towards becoming a Health ‘Tech’ company.
As a Test Analyst, you’ll have a great eye for detail and a talent for finding defects within our testing environments. You will have a passion for quality and an enthusiasm to grow your testing capabilities and automation within our friendly team of developers and testers
You’ll be passionate about and keep up-to-date with the latest manual and automated testing approaches and bring a lot of additional drive and ambition to the team.
Job definition:
- Write clear autonomous test cases adhering to modern software design principles.
- Through continued learning demonstrate a high level of understanding building secure scalable software.
- Adhere to and demonstrate clear understanding of key security principles associated with building modern web-based applications.
- Work with applicable frameworks and existing codebase to resolve issues and complete code reviews.
- Ensure you are proficient in the toolsets required to perform day to day duties.
- Work effectively within team, providing clear updates to Product Owners, Scrum Masters and team members.
- Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
- Maintain a consistent level of professionalism when communicating with colleagues and clients.
- Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company.
- Analyse and test programs and products before formal launch.
- Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.
- Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.
- Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications
Requirements:
Required skills and experience
- More than 3 years commercial experience designing and executing test cases
- Ability to provide clear and concise defect summaries for developers
- Work with Product Owners to define and manage testing carried out by the business
- Experience or Knowledge in test automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress or Selenium
- Experience in maintaining test environments
- Monitor and report on CI/CD pipeline build quality
Desired skills and experience
- Able to identify areas for test automation and develop automated test scripts
- Experience with Test Case Management Software - Quality Centre, TestRail etc.
- Experience with BDD software testing tools such as Cucumber
- Proficient with Jira or similar issue tracking software
- Prior experience working within Agile delivery teams
