As a Barclays Test Analyst, you will be dedicated to a Scrum Team with your day-to-day duties consisting of executing our Test Strategy with a focus on our Test Automation Frameworks and end to end customer journeys. You will also support the Test Lead on daily issues that could limit test progress. e.g., test environments & data, code deployment, resource availability, re-planning.

What will you be doing?
• Working as a team member within the Scrum Team own the test tasks & lead BDD practice

• Analysing and resolve issues with business users, scrum team, Clients & suppliers
• Conducting demos of working software to relevant Stakeholders which is suitable for both technical and business colleagues
• Working with relevant stakeholders to obtain working examples to support the creation of acceptance criteria & scenarios
• Training of new functionality to business users & Clients

What we’re looking for:
• Must be a good team player but also show good leadership skills when required

• Good communication skills
• Good understanding of Technology and Banking Industry
• Experience of managing internal & external stakeholders

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience of AS400 System, System Integration and User Acceptance Testing

• Experience of Agile delivery
• Experience in testing governance & defect management
• Experience of Banking acquisition (on boarding of Clients & Customers) & Account Management

Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
