We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Tenancy Sustainment Team. The aim of this team is to help new tenants understand their tenancy conditions and settle into their new homes.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of working with people within a housing management environment who may never have had a tenancy before and need additional help to sustain their tenancies and remain in their homes.
They will help to set up utilities, source furniture, maximise income and assist with benefit claims. They will also help to minimise rent arrears, tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour. They will hold a case load and work in partnership with relevant organisations/agencies to problem solve and find creative solutions.
They will maintain a high-quality customer service focus in all aspects of the role ensuring that appropriate needs, risk assessments and action plans are completed and reviewed within the procedural time frames. They will be able to work on their own or as part of a team in a fast paced environment. They will have excellent negotiation skills, be organised and motivated.
This role is a combination of working from home and in the Local Housing Office so the ability to do so is paramount to the success in this role.
