Job description
A leading boutique investment firm based in the West End is looking for an excellent Team Assistant to support the Company Secretary, working 1/2 days in the office and 3/4 days from home. Looking for a temp for 3 months initially to work with the Company Secretary providing administration support to start immediately ideally. They may look to extend or go permanent depending on progress with some of the project tasks.
Role Objectives:
This role will work in the Corporate Secretariat function, which is responsible for the efficient administration of the company, ensuring that the company complies with legal and financial requirements and supporting the Board of Directors.
Duties:
Preparations for Board meetings, including arranging meetings, drafting and collating reports and circulating packs
Post-meeting tasks, such as minute taking, following up on action points and arranging follow up meetings
Drafting and filing documentation, including letters to shareholders and shares paperwork
Submitting reports to Companies House
Responding to and fielding queries sent to the team
Project work linked to the role (specific details to be discussed with you)
Option to work as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility team implementing our charitable giving strategy
Background and Experience required:
Essential: Administrative experience in an office environment Good experience with Microsoft Word, basic experience with Microsoft Excel
Advantageous: Knowledge of mail merges Experience of minute-taking
