Position:
Telesales Executive
Hours: 35pw
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00
Salary: £27,000pa plus £8,000 OTE
Location: Remote
Start date: September 2023

Role Purpose
Sell and market Appello products and services by phone, making outgoing sales calls, maintaining a thorough understanding of products and services, processing sales and meeting sales goals.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
- Make outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to sell Appello products and services
- Assist sales team with arranging meetings and sales calls with customers
- Contact customers in response to correspondence or feedback
- Answer questions about product specifications and pricing
- Work closely with the field sales team on customer engagement
- Accurately and efficiently enter customer information into company databases for mailing and billing purposes
- Understand Appello products and troubleshoots any basic issues that may arise
- Maintain working knowledge of products and services sold and keep current on industry developments by reading current news or attending workshops
Customer Service (Internal & External)
- Managing customer expectations and exceeding delivery targets
- Balancing customer requirements and expectations with the resources available
- Recognise when your customer's needs or expectations have changed and adapt or inform as necessary
- Share information with colleagues and service partners to maintain and improve standards of service delivery
Requirements:
Experience
Essential
- Proven experience of working in a similar sales support role
- Experience of working in a sales or telesales environment
- Experience of negotiating with varying stakeholders
- Experience of managing end to end customer sales journey
Desirable
- Experience in technical or electronic equipment sales environment. Understanding of telecare industry

Qualifications & Training
Essential
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent (To include Maths & English at ‘C’ or above)
Desirable
· Business NVQ or similar qualification desirable
Skills
Essential
· Intermediate understanding of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent personal administration and interpersonal skills with Customers, Suppliers and Staff
- Good working knowledge of telesales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
· Knowledge of telecare industry along with technical knowledge of systems equipment
- Good working knowledge of a technical sales environment
