The Role: What you will do?

We are currently going through an exciting period of growth and as a result are looking to recruit Accredited counsellors or counsellors with Accreditation eligibility in the next 6 months to join our Interventions Team providing short-term online and telephone counselling.

The Role:

  • On behalf of Vita Health Group you will deliver structured short term solution focused wellbeing counselling
  • With the support of a wider team and senior case management team you will have the opportunity to work in a varied multidisciplinary team
  • As well as providing you with a dedicated clinical supervisor, we also provide 1:1 case management and regular team meetings included in your role

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • BACP Accredited, NCS Professionally Accredited or equivalent OR eligibiity to apply for Accreditation in the next 6 months.
  • Experience of delivering telephone and video counselling sessions
  • Confident in working in a short-term and solution-focused model
  • Level 4 Diploma in Counselling
  • Confident in your IT ability and navigating multiple online systems and case management diaries while working remotely
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion

Desirable:

  • Experience in psychological therapies services
  • Knowledge of the Stepped Care Model
  • Experience of Risk Management
  • Experience in the use of Assessment tools PHQ9 and GAD7
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office and MS Teams
