Project Africa is a charity that helps African refugees who have ended up in Europe and want to return to their countries of origin. There are engineers, doctors, bankers, and leaders that have left everything to come to Europe for a better life. Yet many of these educated and good people have been exploited and faced modern slavery while in Europe. The unfortunate truth is that many discover too late that after all there was no better life in Europe, and in the worst case they end up going the other way, for example by resorting to illegal livelihoods.
Project Africa’s goal is to help refugees return home, but also to train them to stay home and not return on the next flight. For this, we train refugees in vertical farming and water harvesting. With these skills, they can go back and show others how to build life-saving vertical farms and work together for a better future for their people. In the long run, the communities will be helped as well.
Project Africa is independent of politics, religion, or any other organization. In order to finance our activities, we have launched a support member project. Furthermore, the good news is that anyone can sign up as a support member! However, in order to more effectively find these support members, we are looking for telemarketers to work from home. Your work is to call businesses and sign them up as support members. Working hours are rather flexible, so for example working part-time could be an option as well. We are more interested in the results!
The normal support membership price on the website is 1350 pounds per year. You as a telemarketer sell the same for 880 pounds per year. Your commission is 20% of each sale. You will be paid at the same time as the clients pay.
Right now we are looking for telemarketers to call businesses in England. You should have at least one year of experience of working as a telemarketer. We also expect you to have a good internet connection and a computer and a headset. Please note that Project Africa is a charity located in Spain! In that sense, you’d be working as a freelancer, so you would need to make sure that you comply with your country’s taxation yourself. This often means to have your own business registered.
