Job description
Tasks required by this job include:
undertakes research and advises on all aspects of telecommunications equipment mainly Fibre optics , radar, telemetry and remote control systems, data processing equipment, microwaves and other electronic equipment;
determines and specifies appropriate production and/or installation methods and quality and safety standards;
organises and establishes control systems to monitor performance and evaluate designs;
tests, diagnoses faults and undertakes repair of electronic equipment.
The Telecommunications Engineer is tasked with providing expert advice on the design and implementation of telecommunications equipment mainly fibre optics , ensuring its peak performance and reliability. This role encompasses defining system specifications based on organizational needs, selecting the best production and installation methods for maximum efficiency, and upholding top-tier quality and safety standards. The Engineer ensures all designs align with industry benchmarks and legal regulations, puts systems in place to monitor telecom performance, and consistently reviews and refines designs. They are also responsible for validating the functionality of new or upgraded systems, troubleshooting and mending electronic equipment faults promptly, and offering technical guidance to both team members and end-users.
Punjabi and Hindi Language is also a required quality for this job
