We are seeking an experienced Archaeologist to lead Tees Archaeology. The organisation is part funded by both Hartlepool and Stockton Borough Councils. It holds the HER and provides planning advice to both alongside carrying out a range of income generating projects focussed on community participation and archaeological research.
The successful candidate will be experienced in managing the day to day functions of an organisation and overseeing staff. An excellent communicator you will be used to working with a wide range of stake holders and be a confident leader who can build successful relationships with other Council Services, residents, and voluntary organisations. The role will include taking a lead in generating income for the service and in its outreach work, including engagement in National Lottery Heritage Fund projects.
